[REVIEW] Haeundae aka Tsunami

Synopsis : 

Located on the southeastern tip of the Korean Peninsula, Haeundae-gu of the city Busan draws one million visitors to its beaches every year. Several years ago, Man-sik, a Haeundae local, lost Yeon-hee's father due to his mistake in the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake while deep-sea fishing together at the Indian Ocean. Because of this, for years, Man-sik wasn't able to become involved with Yeon-hee, who runs an unlicensed seafood restaurant, despite her attempts to start a relationship (Yeon-hee doesn't know that her father was killed due to Man-sik's mistake.).

Geologist Kim Hwi somehow runs into his divorced wife, Yoo-jin, who is preparing for an expo in Busan. Although Yoo-jin has a daughter (and also a new boyfriend), they decide not to tell their daughter that he (Hwi) is her real father, afraid that the child would be greatly shocked.

Meanwhile, Hwi notices that the Sea of Japan (East Sea) is displaying similar activity to the Indian Ocean of the time of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. The Disaster Prevention Agency assures him that Korea is at no risk, but a megatsunami soon forms near Japan and starts to travel at 500 miles per hour towards Haeundae. Hwi notices that the citizens of Haeundae has only 10 minutes left to escape. There is a short earthquake in Haeundae; the elevator Yoo-jin is in stops perhaps due to the earthquake. People run for their lives, but the tsunami soon reaches Haeundae. The streets are shown quickly flooded while the people are trying to escape, and some buildings collapse. Some people and cars on a the Gwangan Bridge are swept away by the tsunami.

Review :

Well, for me, this movie are epic... Funny, romantic a first, but after the tsunami, it began its dramatical yet tragical scene. I've cried for about half hour for this movie... (while watching it ofcourse..) So.. love it....

For Me : 5stars/5stars ^^

[REVIEW] My Girlfriend is an Agent

Synopsis :

Disguised as a travel agent, “Su-ji” is a government spy with six years’ experience who can’t reveal her career to her boyfriend “Jae-joon.” After she lies again, her boyfriend breaks up with her and leaves without notice, leaving her struggling alone with her sadness. Three years later, while chasing an industrial spy in disguise as a cleaning lady, she happens to run into Jae-joon. He’s become an international certified accountant, and seeing him throws her feelings into doubt.

Jae-joon has become tired of his girlfriend’s constant and suspicious lies. In one phone call, he tells her he’s leaving Korea to study in Russia. Three years later, disguised as a distinguished international accountant, he enters the NIS (National Intelligence Service) as an agent in its overseas branch. He’s a newbie who got a late start, but he’s highly motivated and takes off on his first field mission, chasing a Russian crime organization, when he runs into Su-ji. It’s shocking to see her now as a hotel cleaning lady, but his affections for her are as strong as ever…

[REVIEW] Whispering Corridor 5 : A Blood Pledge

I think this movie isn't that scary...

Just... sometimes it makes me shock, especially the ghost thing...

pale faces, eyes with no eyeball, and those blood that still spilling all over it...

wew....

but it's nice...

telling about the ghost who protecting her bestfriend, eventhough she once betray her...

etc.. etc...

hehehe...

[REVIEW] UP

Synopsis : 

In 1939, Carl Fredricksen is a shy 8-year-old boy who meets an outgoing and rather eccentric girl named Ellie and discovers they share the same interest in adventures as their hero, famed explorer Charles Muntz. Ellie expresses her desire to move her clubhouse to Paradise Falls in South America, a promise she makes Carl swear to keep. Years pass, and Carl and Ellie marry and grow old together in the old house where they first met while making a living as a toy balloon vendor and a zookeeper respectively. Unable to have children, they also try to save up for the trip to Paradise Falls but other financial obligations arise. Just as they finally seem to be able to take their trip, Ellie dies of old age, leaving Carl living by himself, becoming sour and missing his wife terribly. As the years pass, the city grows around Carl's house with construction as he refuses to move. After a tussle with a construction worker over his broken mailbox, the court orders Carl to move into Shady Oaks Retirement Home. Carl comes up with a scheme to keep his promise to Ellie, and uses his old professional supplies to create a makeshift airship using 10,000 helium balloons which lift his house off its foundations. Russell, a Wilderness Explorer trying to earn his final merit badge for "Assisting the Elderly", has stowed away on the porch after being sent on a snipe hunt by Carl the day before.

Well, this movie starts slow... from the childhood, his young era, untill the old era, which is, a bit funny, yet so painful.. with a perfect match background song.. it just.. clicking my heart, and burst my tears out...

But the, So the journey begin..  which i think it's a bit impossible... well, to think flown a house with 10,000 helium ballons?? Well, it's animation, so it's possible in it...

But, the old man act stink... i hate it... how can he be such a butthead?!! And yet, there is another touching moment, that makes me want to be loved too while watching it.. ^^

In the end, it goes just so.. well...

So, the conclusion will be : perfect 5 stars / 5 stars

[REVIEW] Kung Fu Chef

This time, its just a review, since i cant find the synopsis of it in Wikipedia...

Review :
This story was starte when WPY accused to be intended to poisoned a feast as he is the chef... And started from there,he banded by the villagers and started his journey..
In his journey, he met Kenichi and etc...

My review, Vaness absolutely handsome in here... And he wear tanktop(?) often...
So... *drool*...
But the story line isn't that good..
at some part, i think the funny part a little bit too... forced to happen(?)
And @ the end, it seems like the ending was too soon, so it doesn't seem to be realistic at all..
And kung fu? where is the kungfu?? The battle part was just seem to be *as long as you hit the enemy* thing, not kung fu.

So, for me : 2 stars / 5 stars

Synopsis :
The story begins with Mortimer "Mo" Folchart (Brendan Fraser) and his wife Resa (Sienna Guillory) reading a bedtime story Little Red Riding Hood to their infant daughter Meggie. As Mo reads the story, a red velvet hood appears, unbeknownst to the family as a narrator explains that people known as "Silver Tongues" are born with the gift that whenever they read a story aloud, their elements come into reality, and that some are completely unaware of their gifts.

Flash forward 12 years into the future, Mo and Meggie (Eliza Bennett) are trolling the European countrysides in hopes of finding a book that Mo has been looking for for years. He has come to learn of his gifts, and 9 years prior, Resa had vanished, much to the chagrin of her extended family. Hearing the calling of books from a bookstore one day, Mo, a reputed book repairer, leaves Meggie outside and ventures inside after being offered to browse the shelves. He finds the book "Inkheart" in the stock and is overwhelmed with a mixture of fear and joy.

Review :
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!
It's full of Fantasy... Yet Overwhelming with action and romance drama...
Beautiful, yet fill with passion...
I dont know how to say it..
Feel so sorry for dustfinger, who miss his family so much, yet know the end of his story, which is he gone...
But feel happy for him too, since at last he can reunited with his family...
I dont know... I just feel like it's so touching...
^^...

[REVIEW] Frozen Flower (쌍화점)

Synopsis:
In the end of Goryeo era politically manipulated by the Yuan Dynasty, the ambitious King of the Goryeo Dynasty organizes Kunryongwe. Meanwhile, the bilateral relation between Goryeo and the Yuan gets worse as Yuan demands to install the cousin of the King in the Crown Prince of Goryeo with ascribing it to no son the King has. The King refuses it resolutely, so the high-ranking officials of Goryeo, who are in submission to Yuan, are discontented with the king. One day, the King gives Hong Lim a covert yet unobjectionable order to sleep with the Queen instead of himself to protect the independence of Goryeo from the Yuan by making a son, the successor to Goryeo throne.

Well, at first i saw the movie... *WOW, JO IN SUNG LOOKS COOL HERE* are my first impression.. BUT...
I dont know what to say...
There's a gay-xxx scene between him and the king... disgusting...
not counting that xxx scene too between him n the queen...
ITS DISGUSTING..!!!
I never thought that Jo In Sung would do that kind of act...
I'm dissapoint... very much...
I feel that the movie more likely make the xxx thing to be the point of the movie, not the story... T^T

[REVIEW] Blood : The Last Vampire

Jun Ji Hyun english sounds good in this movie.
I think this movie would be great b4.
But, apparently i was hoping to high. this movie is good. so many blood. BUt they used anime blood. it looks so fake... and i hate the alice person... so stupid.. but yet, i think saya found her to be like a sister for her. thats why she protect her all the way.. i Love it when she remembering her past... she is so beautiful like that...
n the sword skill, it doesnt like a skill to me... just stabbing n slashing anything in front of her, despite the past that she learn the sword skill from her likely "grandpa"

[REVIEW] More Than Blue (슬픔보다 더 슬픈 이야기)

Synopsis :
Kay and Cream first meet each other in high school. Knowing that Cream's biggest fear is to be left alone, Kay keeps secret the fact that he has terminal cancer, and instead he urges her to marry a kind and healthy man. When Cream announces that she is in love with affluent doctor Joo-hwan, Kay is left heartbroken, but is satisfied that she has met her ideal partner.

To me, this movie really a movie that really sadder than a sad movie.
At first, i think, this girl really a stupid girl... why do you see another man, when you have a perfect n loving guy right next to you. anboinya??!! But at the end, its explained, that the girl did that just to make sure that the guy pleased with all that she done. just trying to fulfill his wishes. and as it isnt sad enough, the guy she married(the other guy, not Kay), know her true feeling.. but he most likely to love her so much that he ignored the truth n still marry her. But, in the end, after Kay died, that babo girl decided to follow him... I didn't like he ending though, so for me, it got : 4 stars / 5 stars

[REVIEW] Public Enemies : 2009

The film opens in 1933 as John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) is brought to the Indiana State Prison by his partner John "Red" Hamilton (Jason Clarke), under the disguise of a prisoner drop. Dillinger and Hamilton overpower several guards and free members of their gang including Charles Makley (Christian Stolte) and Harry Pierpont (David Wenham). The jailbreak goes off without a hitch, until gang member Ed Shouse (Michael Vieau) beats a guard to death. A shootout ensues as the gang makes its getaway. Dillinger's friend and mentor Walter Dietrich (James Russo) is killed, and a furious Dillinger kicks Shouse out of the car. The rest of the gang retreats to a farm house hideout, where crooked Chicago cop Martin Zarkovich (John Michael Bolger) convinces them to hide out in Chicago, where they can be sheltered by the Mafia.

Elsewhere, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) and several other FBI agents are running down Pretty Boy Floyd (Channing Tatum). Purvis kills Floyd and is promoted by J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup), who is struggling to expand his Bureau into a national police agency, to lead the hunt for John Dillinger, declaring the first national "War on Crime."

As i watch the movie, i found out that the plot goes out so slow, to he point that it is boring.. At first, it is OK, with all the bang bang and bloodie things..
But, after the opening, it is... boring...
not much bang bang again...
and... Johny Depp isn't that cool like in the Pirates of Carribean...
in fact, Christian Bale look just like him at Batman.. not much change...
But that makes him more lookable than Johny Depp.. But he doesn't appear much in the movie...
So, what i think, this movie worth 3 stars / 5 stars

Speed Racer - scheduled to be released on May 9, 2008

Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer (Scott Porter). Andy Lau-Warlords

The film was originally titled The Blood Brothers (simplified Chinese: 刺马; traditional Chinese: 刺馬). Director Peter Chan said it was influenced by the late Chang Cheh's 1973 film The Blood Brothers, which is itself based on a famous high profile assassination of a local governor in 1870, but denied that it is a remake. He also decided to change the title to The Warlords in order to avoid confusion. (Note that there is another Chinese film with the English title Blood Brothers released in mid-2007.)When asked why he chose to move away from his familiar turf of romance films, Chan said that The Warlords is actually not a martial arts film at its heart, though it contains elements of the martial arts. He added that he had made a wish to make a film depicting men's affections after watching John Woo's 1986 film A Better Tomorrow over twenty years ago, and has now finally gotten the chance. His goal is thus to "lead audience to reclaim [the same kind of passion]" as in A Better Tomorrow, which he said is lacking in recent films.
